Future-proof and flexible: Cloud Migration and increased Efficiency through IT Outsourcing
Righetti Partner Group AG offers comprehensive services in process management, construction economics, real estate development, asset analysis and project organisation. With a team of around 28 highly qualified employees, it supports clients, architects, investors and planning offices with customised solutions, technical expertise and efficient process management in order to implement projects successfully, cost-effectively and to a high standard.
Initial Situation
Righetti Partner Group AG wanted to comprehensively modernise its IT infrastructure in order to free itself from its existing dependency and offer its employees a modern workplace. Due to the lack of in-house IT staff, the company had already outsourced the operation of its IT environment and support to an external provider. The previous access to the applications operated by the provider was via Citrix, which, however, repeatedly exhibited stability and performance problems. With the aim of expanding the workplace to include modern communication and collaboration tools, they decided to obtain the operation of their workplace from isolutions using Workplace as a Service (WaaS) and Azure Operations as a Service (AOaaS). With this step, the company is consistently pursuing the path it has already taken of moving away from local servers and instead utilising a cloud-based architecture and IT services as a service.
Solution
As part of a cloud strategy workshop, isolutions analysed the IT infrastructure of the Righetti Partner Group, derived the future architecture and created a cloud roadmap. Subsequently, all email inboxes and 30 workstations were successfully migrated to the cloud. The file repositories were integrated into SharePoint Online and the Messerli construction administration software into the Azure tenant. These migrations enabled Righetti to benefit from improved availability, security and flexibility. Employees received comprehensive training in the use of Microsoft Teams, which significantly improved collaboration and communication. With the new tools, the company can now work more efficiently and from any location. The modernisation also eliminated the previous stability and performance problems and resulted in a more reliable and powerful working environment. Overall, the cloud-based solution offers a future-proof IT infrastructure that ensures both cost efficiency and scalability and optimally prepares the Righetti Partner Group for future challenges.
