No more language barriers in meetings: The Copilot “Interpreter Agent” is here!
What is the “Interpreter Agent”?
The Interpreter Agent is an AI-powered language interpreter in Microsoft Teams that translates spoken language in real time – from speech to speech, not just as subtitles. It currently supports nine languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and more.
Unlike traditional subtitles or translation features, the Interpreter Agent provides a natural, spoken translation that integrates directly into the flow of conversation. This makes it especially valuable for meetings where nuances, tone, and spontaneous interaction matter.
