Resilience over illusion: sovereignty conceived realistically

Digital sovereignty is not a buzzword – it is a question of leadership and responsibility.
The use of international cloud services is now a reality in public administration, politics, and critical infrastructure. At the same time, fundamental questions arise:
- Where are the legal boundaries?
- Which security and governance risks are genuinely relevant?
- Which dependencies are consciously accepted – and which are simply left undecided?
- What does resilience mean in the digital state, concretely?
The public event examines digital sovereignty from three complementary perspectives: law, practical application, and technology. The goal is to ground the debate in facts and make core trade‑offs visible – without alarmism and without ideology.
At the centre is the guiding question:
The event is aimed at representatives from federal, cantonal, and municipal authorities, political decision-makers, data protection and security officers, as well as IT leaders in the public sector.
Moderation: Roman Feierabend
The content segment concludes with a pointed perspective for further classification – followed by an apéro and networking.
