Bid Manager
Job Description
Are you passionate about winning complex tenders and working with a high-performing team to develop compelling solutions for the Swiss public sector and other major enterprise clients?
Then you belong on our team! Immerse yourself in a unique team spirit built on openness, mutual support, and honest challenge. Experience the isolutions way of working and become part of an inspiring community where curiosity, reliability, and a winning spirit are part of everyday life.
This is what you get up for in the morning:
- As a Bid Manager, you lead strategically important tenders, WTO procurements, RFPs, RFIs, and mini tenders—from the initial review of tender documents through the Bid/No-Bid decision, pitch summary, and qualification matrix to the on-time submission of proposals.
- You orchestrate the entire bid process, bringing together Sales, Consulting, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Together with the Account and Solution teams, you develop a compelling win strategy and clearly articulate our customer value proposition and key differentiators.
- You structure content, responsibilities, and deadlines, ensuring that individual contributions come together as one consistent and persuasive proposal.
- You challenge content and proposed solutions, coordinate reviews, and ensure our bids are compelling from a quality, commercial, and content perspective.
- You continuously improve our bid processes, templates, best practices, and AI-supported ways of working, actively contributing to higher quality, greater efficiency, and an improved win rate.
We would like you to:
- Several years of experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, Sales Operations, or a comparable role—ideally within an IT services or solutions business, with experience managing WTO tenders, RFPs, RFIs, or mini tenders in the Swiss market.
- Experience with complex B2B tendering and proposal processes, along with a solid understanding of Sales, Consulting, and Delivery.
- The ability to quickly structure complex information, identify the key success factors, and translate them into a compelling proposal narrative.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a common goal—even without direct line management responsibility—and the confidence to constructively challenge content, timelines, and assumptions.
- Excellent organizational skills, a structured and reliable way of working, and the ability to maintain oversight of quality, deadlines, and responsibilities even under time pressure.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English. A degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or a related field, as well as experience with Microsoft technologies and the Swiss IT market, is a plus.
